Steady, Boutique Approach to Advice
Priority Investment Management was built intentionally small — a boutique firm designed for clarity, steadiness, and long‑term relationships. That philosophy reflects the way I work: calm, structured, and focused on helping clients make confident decisions without noise or complexity.
My role is simple: provide clear, disciplined guidance that fits your life, not just your portfolio.

Professional Background
My career began in audit, where I was responsible for reviewing the bank’s own investment portfolios (internally referred to as Bank Investments), the Trust Department, and the foreign exchange area. Auditing these functions taught me the discipline of controls, documentation, and financial accuracy, and gave me a front‑row view of how institutions manage money, risk, and reporting.
From there, I moved into trading‑system architecture across both traditional investment operations and the bank’s markets division. The work spanned two very different environments: traditional investments on one side, and foreign exchange and commodities on the other.
My role was designing the accounting frameworks that ensure trades are captured correctly, positions reconcile cleanly, and risk is measured accurately across these products. Working in both traditional and exotic markets gave me a deep understanding of how trading systems function behind the scenes, how the infrastructure works, how controls operate, and how financial data actually moves through an institution.
It’s experience that shapes how I think about markets today: structured, disciplined, and grounded in how things work beneath the surface. I hold a Master of Financial Economics (MFE) from Ohio University, which at the time was the only CFA‑recognized program in the state. The MFE is a technical finance degree focused on:

I hold a Master of Financial Economics (MFE) from Ohio University, which at the time was the only CFA‑recognized program in the state. The MFE is a technical finance degree focused on:
- econometrics
- financial modeling
- market structure
- economic dynamics
- portfolio theory
- ethics aligned with CFA Institute standards
This training informs how I build investment frameworks and evaluate long‑term decisions.
Investment Competence, Not Salesmanship
Many advisors rely on model portfolios selected by a back office.Priority Investment Management is built differently.
My background is in:
My background is in:
- audit discipline
- trading‑system architecture
- technical financial economics
- macro awareness
- long‑term structure
- disciplined portfolio design
I’m an investment professional, not a salesperson. That doesn’t guarantee outcomes (nothing does), but it does mean your plan is built with intention, structure, and genuine expertise.
Temperament & Philosophy
My natural temperament leans toward clarity, patience, and long‑term thinking. I value:
- calm decision‑making
- clear explanations
- structured planning
- thoughtful adjustments
- transparency
- relationships over transactions
Clients often tell me they appreciate how steady and understandable the process feels. That’s intentional, advice should reduce stress, not add to it.
Why I Built a Boutique Firm
I built Priority Investment Management because I believe advice works best when:
- clients feel comfortable asking questions
- communication is clear and human
- the advisor actually knows the client
- decisions are made intentionally, not reactively
- investment frameworks are built with discipline
- relationships matter more than scale
And I believe something else:
Most goals are achievable when we identify what truly matters, choose our priorities, and build the habits and discipline to support them. Financial planning and investing isn’t just about numbers, it’s about aligning decisions with what’s genuinely important in your life.
Boutique firms can deliver that kind of clarity and intentionality.
Large firms often can’t.
A Relationship That Actually Feels Like Advice
My goal is simple:Provide clarity, structure, and steady guidance in a world that often feels noisy and uncertain.
If you’d like to reach out, I’m easy to get ahold of.
